Derek Limbaugh is a husband, father, teacher, speaker, and writer with a passion for helping people discover the Jewish world of the Bible and the Messiah.After an injury that ended his baseball career, Derek shifted his academic focus to philosophy, religion, and history. At University of North Carolina at Wilmington, he studied under the renowned religion scholar, Dr. Diana Pasulka.Over the past decade, Derek has taught in both public and private schools, here in the United States and in Bethlehem, Judea. His love for education extends beyond the classroom into biblical teaching, where he is committed to making Scripture accessible, historically grounded, and spiritually transformative.As a Messianic Gentile, he is a recurring guest speaker at his congregation, Shalom Macon in Macon, GA. He has also been a guest speaker at Beth Immanuel in Hudson, WI, and a keynote speaker at the Jewishness of Jesus Conference in Tampa, FL. He is a writer for First Fruits of Zion, the world's leading Messianic Jewish teaching organization.Derek lives in Atlanta with his bride, Caroline, and their two sons.
